NET.Controller 7020
GAT NET.Controller M 7020 (main controller) and GAT NET. Controller S 7020 (sub-controller) units are used to connect and control GANTNER's latest generation of innovative electronic cabinet locks - GAT NET.Lock 7020.
Controllers can operate in network or stand-alone mode. In network mode, the controllers communicate with the host computer/server. The master controller acts as a communication bridge between the host computer/server and the slave controllers. In stand-alone mode, no master controller is required; the sub-controller and connected locks operate autonomously according to their configuration.
Flexibility is provided by different sub-controller models that support two RFID frequencies (13.56 MHz and 125 kHz) and all popular technologies (LEGIC, MIFARE®, ISO 15693 and HID iCLASS®).
Each master controller can control up to 8 sub-controllers and 192 locks with a maximum cable length of 800 m. A lightweight version of the slave and master controller is available to reduce the cost and complexity of smaller MIFARE®/ISO systems.
In network mode, slave controllers receive media information through connected locks. This data is sent via the master controller to the computer/server for authorization. The current state of the cabinet system is also transmitted to the computer/server, thereby enabling the visualization of the state of each cabinet via computer software (eg GAT Relaxx). The failover feature for online mode ensures that work continues if communication with the computer/server is lost.
In stand-alone operation, GAT NET.Lock 7020 locks work similarly to the GANTNER battery lock. Lock configuration is possible with GAT Config Manager software or wireless communication locks (e.g. via MoLA application or configuration media).
